► Being the first Stasis SMG, you’d expect Forensic Nightmare to excel in some way–sadly, this isn’t the case. With only an average range stat and no range-boosting perks, this weapon falls flat in PVP. Plus, it’s missing top-tier perks for PVE, making it a very weak pick.

► Crisis Inverted can roll with some top-tier PVP perks and has nice synergy between Compulsive Reloader and Omolon Fluid Dynamics. However, with its fairly low range stat and gigantic perk pool, this weapon isn’t worth farming over the Cantata-57, Eyasluna, or Palindrome.

► Because of its S-tier PVE perks and Lightweight Frame, Redback-5si seems amazing… until you start firing it. Sidearms feel extremely weak in PVE right now and need a major buff before this weapon (or any other sidearm) becomes usable.

► Tarnation suffers from the poor Rapid-Fire archetype and a poor perk pool. However, the saving grace of Tarnation is its ability to be crafted, completely nullifying the RNG aspect. It can also come with Enhanced Perks, which place it above its Rapid-Fire competition.

► While Lubrae’s Ruin has amazing lore, it lacks in numerous key gameplay areas. Just like other glaives, the ranged ability feels weak, and the melee attack can get you into trouble if you’re not careful. Not to mention, some melee-based traits don’t even work with the glaive melee attack, making Lubrae’s Ruin feel terrible to wield.
