Season of the Haunted (S17) is not any different. So far, 3 Legendary armor sets and 3 Exotic armor pieces have been released. And more should follow, including armor tied to special events.

How to get new Exotic armor in Destiny 2
These new Exotic armor pieces can only be obtained by completing Legend or Master Lost Sectors solo, i.e. without being part of a Fireteam. Note that Lost Sectors are on a daily rotation, with a specific Lost Sector and type of reward available per day.

Destiny 2: Season of the Haunted Armor Sets
Now that we got the new Exotic armor out of the way, let’s talk about all the new Legendary armor sets that were released with Season of the Haunted.
Season 17 armor set: Eidolon Pursuant Set
How to get it: These armor sets can be acquired by focusing Umbral engrams and completing seasonal activities.
Season 17 universal ornaments: Epialos Following Set
How to get it: These ornaments can be acquired by unlocking the paid track of the Season Pass.
Eververse armor set: Collimated Light Set
How to get it: These armor sets can be found in the Eververse store and you can either purchase them immediately with Silver (real money) or with Bright Dust (in-game currency) if you can wait a few weeks.
Duality armor set: Deep Explorer Suit
How to get it: These armor sets can be acquired by running the Duality dungeon.

Throne World Armor set
The most notorious armor set in The Witch Queen, the one used in every promo material out there, is the Veritas Set:

Season of the Risen Armor sets
The Tusk Allegiance set is the main Season of the Risen armor set that’s been shown in every trailer and promo material so far:

Eververse Armor sets

Finally, The Witch Queen also introduced free Playlist armor sets:

Special events
Finally, several special events will occur throughout the year and they will include a brand-new armor set for each class. There are four events in Destiny 2 in any given year: The Dawning for Christmas, Festival of the Lost for Halloween, Guardian Games, and Solstice of Heroes.

Limited in time by nature, this means you have only a couple of weeks to farm these event-specific armor sets per year. The good news is that farming these is quite easy: The loot pools are very small and the drop rates are decent enough to guarantee a few good rolls if you take the time to participate.
