Ager’s Scepter

Best
❘ S
Excels in:
PvE + PvP

Beyond Light

Exotic Perk: “Final blows with this weapon generate a slowing burst around the defeated target. Stasis final blows transfer ammo to this weapon’s magazine from reserves.”
► Ager’s Scepter is exactly what you would have expected from a proper Stasis trace rifle. Its ability to freeze and slow at will is remarkable, but on top of that, it has best-in-class stats and a top-tier catalyst. You won’t find another weapon able to quickly dispose of ads while creating great synergies with a Stasis subclass.

Exotic Perk: “Final blows with this weapon generate a slowing burst around the defeated target. Stasis final blows transfer ammo to this weapon’s magazine from reserves.”

Eyasluna

Best
❘ S
Excels in:
PvE + PvP

30th Anniversary

PvE God Roll: Outlaw + Headstone
PvP God Roll: Rangefinder + Kill Clip
► One of the most popular and beloved weapons from Destiny 1 has returned and it’s even stronger than before. Eyasluna offers god-tier stats and an extremely good perk selection that will help it dominate the Crucible.

PvE God Roll: Outlaw + Headstone
PvP God Roll: Rangefinder + Kill Clip

Palmyra-B

Best
❘ S
Excels in:
PvE + PvP

Free-to-Play

PvE God Roll: Auto-Loading Holster + Explosive Light
PvP God Roll: Impulse Amplifier + Chain Reaction
► Rockets are S-tier options for boss damage, and Palmyra-B is the best of the bunch. Auto-Loading Holster allows you to use special weapons while Palmyra is reloading, and its damage perks boost this weapon further above its competition. Plus, intrinsic tracking makes Palmyra a great pick for both PVE and PVP. After all, you’ll want all the help you can get to hit those shots.

PvE God Roll: Auto-Loading Holster + Explosive Light
PvP God Roll: Impulse Amplifier + Chain Reaction

Peacebond

Strong
❘ A
Excels in:
PvE + PvP

Free-to-Play

PvP God Roll: Rangefinder (also good: Killing Wind) + Swashbuckler
PvE God Roll: Subsistence + Headstone
► With good base stats that match those of the fan-favorite High Albedo, Peacebond also happens to offer several top-tier perks for both PVE and PVP. Peacebond was one of the few weapons to offer Headstone and that made it very special. That isn’t any longer the case, as many other weapons can roll with Headstone these days. Still, Peacebond remains a solid sidearm.

PvP God Roll: Rangefinder (also good: Killing Wind) + Swashbuckler
PvE God Roll: Subsistence + Headstone

Reed’s Regret

Strong
❘ A
Excels in:
PvE + PvP

The Witch Queen

PvE God Roll: Triple Tap (also good: Clown Cartridge) + Firing Line (also good: Vorpal Weapon)
► With best-in-class base stats, superior to my previous favorite legendary, Threaded Needle, Reed’s Regret is the best legendary Linear Fusion in the game. It also offers an excellent PVE perk combination that no other Linear Fusion can offer: Triple Tap with Firing Line.

PvE God Roll: Triple Tap (also good: Clown Cartridge) + Firing Line (also good: Vorpal Weapon)

Thoughtless

Strong
❘ A
Excels in:
PvE + PvP

Deluxe Edition

PvE God Roll: Overflow + Firing Line (also good: Focused Fury)
PvP God Roll: Firmly Planted (also good: Steady Hands) + Snapshot Sights
► A very well-rounded weapon, Thoughtless has something for everyone. With Snapshot Sights and multiple different handling perks for PVP, or Overflow / Firing Line for PVE, this Sniper Rifle can be viable everywhere. That said, most people still prefer snipers that can specialize in either PVP or PVE.

PvE God Roll: Overflow + Firing Line (also good: Focused Fury)
PvP God Roll: Firmly Planted (also good: Steady Hands) + Snapshot Sights

Deliverance

Strong
❘ A
Excels in:
PvE + PvP

The Witch Queen

PvE God Rolls: Demolitionist (also good: Perpetual Motion) + Chill Klip
► Being the first kinetic (and Stasis!) legendary Fusion makes Deliverance already worth grabbing. Plus, with the great perk combos for PVE and PVP, you can’t go wrong with this one-of-a-kind weapon.

PvE God Rolls: Demolitionist (also good: Perpetual Motion) + Chill Klip

Lingering Dread

Strong
❘ A
Excels in:
PvE + PvP

Deluxe Edition

PvE/PvP God Roll: Auto-Loading Holster (also good: Ambitious Assassin) + Chill Clip
► Lingering Dread is the first of its kind. It’s the first Special Stasis Grenade Launcher, and it comes with one of the newer Stasis perks, Chill Clip. However, despite the potential nuance that Chill Clip may bring, Lingering Dread doesn’t shake up the meta. It is merely another ‘pretty good’ option.

PvE/PvP God Roll: Auto-Loading Holster (also good: Ambitious Assassin) + Chill Clip

Krait

Strong
❘ A
Excels in:
PvE

Free-to-Play

PvE God Roll: Subsistence (also good: Stats for All) + One for All (also good: Headstone)
► Mimicking Valakadyn from Year 1, Krait has immediately become a fan favorite among players in the community. With some good PVE-oriented perks and the Veist Stinger Origin Trait, you can’t go wrong with this 720RPM Auto Rifle. However, there are numerous other options, like Chroma Rush, that sadly outclass Krait in most scenarios.

PvE God Roll: Subsistence (also good: Stats for All) + One for All (also good: Headstone)

Fractethyst

Strong
❘ A
Excels in:
PvP

Free-to-Play

PvP God Roll: Quickdraw (also good: Slideshot) + Opening Shot
► As Aggressive Shotguns continue to receive indirect nerfs, Precision Shotguns are again on the rise, and Fractethyst is no exception. Fractethyst is one of the best Precision Shotguns available and is a consistent option Guardians should not overlook.

PvP God Roll: Quickdraw (also good: Slideshot) + Opening Shot

Zephyr

Average
❘ B
Excels in:
PvE

Free-to-Play

PvE God Roll: Relentless Strikes + Cold Steel
► Adaptive swords are generally nothing to write home about, however, Zephyr has an ace up its sleeve with the perk Cold Steel. With the Cold Steel perk, Zephyr can slow enemies on hit and allow you to activate the artifact perk Focusing Lens by yourself.

PvE God Roll: Relentless Strikes + Cold Steel

Recurrent Impact

Average
❘ B
Excels in:
PvE

Deluxe Edition

PvE God Roll: Subsistence (also good: Perpetual Motion) + One for All (also good: Headstone)
► Recurrent Impact edges slightly higher than its Rapid-Fire competition as it comes with the origin trait ‘Land Tank’ which makes you tankier with each kill. This, along with Subsistence can make you an ad clearing, tanky teammate that can mow through enemies.

PvE God Roll: Subsistence (also good: Perpetual Motion) + One for All (also good: Headstone)

Syncopation-53

Average
❘ B
Excels in:
PvP

Free-to-Play

PvE God Roll: Outlaw + Headstone
► Other than the fact that it is Stasis, and therefore can roll with Headstone, Syncopation-53 is an average weapon with not too many strong points.

PvE God Roll: Outlaw + Headstone

Cryosthesia 77K

Average
❘ B

Beyond Light

Exotic Perk: “Press and release to fire individual shots. Hold to fire a Charged Shot when Liquid Cooling is active. Final blows with this weapon enable a Charged Shot for a short duration. Targets hit by this shot are instantly frozen.”
► Cryosthesia 77K has been through a lot. It was originally released in a sorry state, but it recently received several buffs that help it stand on its own. While it will serve you best in PVE as part of a carefully selected Stasis built, it can hold its own in the hands of an experienced sidearm user in PVP.

Exotic Perk: “Press and release to fire individual shots. Hold to fire a Charged Shot when Liquid Cooling is active. Final blows with this weapon enable a Charged Shot for a short duration. Targets hit by this shot are instantly frozen.”

Typhon GL5

Average
❘ B

Free-to-Play

PvE God Roll: Impulse Amplifier + Explosive Light (also good: Chill Klip)
► Even though Typhon GL5 has some great perks like Explosive Light, it doesn’t excel in any part of the game simply because it’s a heavy Grenade Launcher. Until these become stronger options for either ad clear or DPS, this weapon will sadly be forgotten by most of the community.

PvE God Roll: Impulse Amplifier + Explosive Light (also good: Chill Klip)

Vulpecula

Weak
❘ C

Free-to-Play

PvE God Roll: Outlaw + Headstone (also good: Explosive Payload)
► Releasing with the first round of Stasis Legendary Weapons in Season 15, Vulpecula was originally loved because it was the only Stasis Hand Cannon in the game. However, with the addition of Eyasluna, there isn’t a place for this 180 RPM hand cannon anymore.

PvE God Roll: Outlaw + Headstone (also good: Explosive Payload)

Herod-C

Weak
❘ C

Free-to-Play

PvE God Roll: Subsistence + Focused Fury (also good: Frenzy)
► With its subpar perks and lacking archetype, Herod-C doesn’t have too much going for it. Its giant perk pool also doesn’t help anything, as it makes grinding this weapon extremely irritating.

PvE God Roll: Subsistence + Focused Fury (also good: Frenzy)

Perses-D

Weak
❘ C

Free-to-Play

PvE God Roll: Rapid Hit + Explosive Payload (also good: Headstone)
► While Perses-D can roll with some of the best PVE scout rifle perks, it falls into an archetype that is extremely lacking, making other weapons (such as Night Watch and Hung Jury SR4) better picks overall.

PvE God Roll: Rapid Hit + Explosive Payload (also good: Headstone)

Forensic Nightmare

Weak
❘ C

Free-to-Play

PvE God Roll: Perpetual Motion + Kill Clip (also good: Headstone)
► Being the first Stasis SMG, you’d expect Forensic Nightmare to excel in some way–sadly, this isn’t the case. With only an average range stat and no range-boosting perks, this weapon falls flat in PVP. Plus, it’s missing top-tier perks for PVE, making it a very weak pick.

PvE God Roll: Perpetual Motion + Kill Clip (also good: Headstone)

Salvation’s Grip

Worst
❘ D

Beyond Light

Exotic Perk: “This weapon’s projectiles create Stasis crystals and freeze nearby targets. Charging this weapon increases the freeze radius and amount of Stasis crystals created.”
► Salvation’s Grip hasn’t evolved with the rest of the game. Previously, it was the only Stasis weapon in the game; however, simple perks like Headstone can replicate Salvation’s Grip’s effect without the cost of your Exotic or Heavy slot. It’s best to stay away from Salvation’s Grip until it receives a rework or strong catalyst.

Exotic Perk: “This weapon’s projectiles create Stasis crystals and freeze nearby targets. Charging this weapon increases the freeze radius and amount of Stasis crystals created.”
